Teri Hatcher Wardrobe Malfunction At The "Late Show with David Letterman"

Teri Hatcher appeared to have been struck by a dreaded wardrobe malfunction as she as she arrived for an appearance on the Late Show with David Letterman in New York last night.

The silky top layer of her dress looked to have come unstitched at the waist, with more than half of the skirt slipping down around her thigh.

But as she sashayed along in front of the crowd happily showing off the confection from all angles, it became clear the bizarre look was actually intentional.

The actress, who turns 44 on December 8, was on the talk show to promote her hit show, Desperate Housewives.

The new series, currently airing on Channel 4, picks up five years on when her character Susan has split from husband Mike Delfino.

Miley Cyrus who turned sweet sixteen on Sunday - had a firm grip on her older beau - Justin Gaston - as she indulged in some retail therapy at stores Serendipity 3 and H&M.

But the couple didn't get to spend much time alone.

They were joined by Miley's mother Tish and little sister Noah out shopping to beat the Black Friday rush.

The lovebirds (and Miley's mum) finished off their day by checking out a Broadway play in Times Square.

The Edge of Love co-stars Keira, 23, and Sienna, 26, proved a real double act at the London movie event. They held hands as they escorted one another down the red carpet at the British Independent Film Awards at the Old Billingsgate.

The ladies star in the film 'Edge of Love' where they portray women who are both involved with legendary poet Dylan Thomas.

In a high-necked gothic lace gown, Keira could have stepped right off the set of one of her period dramas. She kept the look modern though by teaming her dress with classic black satin courts and leaving her locks loose, with a side-swept fringe.
